Bess Sisneros Started at NARS in 2012 but got her start riding in a 4-H Club in Hawaii when she was eight years old then guided trail rides on the Big Island of Hawaii for almost seven years. She had a mentor who taught her how to start young horses using natural horsemanship principals. For the next few years she worked at several different ranches primarily starting colts. She then worked as an assistant riding instructor teaching basic horsemanship, dressage and jumping at a riding academy in Kailua Kona. Bess bases her instruction and training on natural horsemanship methods and follows the safety requirements of CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) having attended the CHA riding instructor’s certification course and graduating with a level 3 in English, Jumping and Western Instruction Bess teaches all ages and all disciplines. For fun, Bess enjoys her time on the trail, competing and instructing Dressage and Western Dressage and spending time with her grown son Tyler.
Corrin Davis started riding when she was 7 years old. She participated in Western Pleasure and Hunter Jumper, and when she moved to Arizona in 2006 found a passion for Barrel Racing. She attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a Bachelors in Equine Sciences. Corrin shows up to work every day with a smile on her face and a genuine passion for the horses at NARS. Corrin became our barn manager in December of 2020 and it is her impeccable attention to the daily needs of both the horses and our clients that we love. During her free time Corrin enjoys working with her three horses and practicing for her next race!
Chris Hogg grew up in the Mountainaire and Kachina area so he is a true native to the area! Chris came to the stables almost every year to see the Clydesdales when they stayed at NARS. He now cleans stalls and helps with every aspect of barn maintenance, while keeping the horses comfortable and happy. While he is new to the world of horses he happily soaks up any and all information he can while simultaneously getting to enjoy the animals every day. Chris is a pleasure to have at the barn and his dedication to the horses is evident in his hard working nature! In his free time Chris likes to read, write, work on his various hobbies, and play games with friends.
